Depending on whom you are talking to "buba" or "Baby Blue" is growing rapidly. I am looking more pregnant than just over weight these days. Thank goodness. That in between stage is brutal.  I feel a more comfortable showing off the belly than trying to hide behind loose clothing.

The news everyone has been waiting for....... IT'S A BOY!

The CVS test came back and he is healthy. No suprise to me that were are having a boy. I have said from the start that I thought it was a boy and have been referring to the baby as "he". His name is still TBD. Dan is elated. He already has golfing and fishing plans for Saturdays.... NO GIRLS ALLOWED! Hmmmm.

 I continue to feel pretty good. Sleeping is becoming more and more difficult, it's that darn itching...

This week I was having difficulty with bleeding again. A few more days of bed rest and taking it easy was the Doctors order. Everything is fine and the baby is doing great. We are trying to be really patient to find out the gender. The call should be coming this week. I promise to let you know as soon as I hear! My only complaint is the darn itching! All night my back and tummy itches and keeps me awake..... UGH!

Lordy! We had the CVS testing. It was not as easy as I had anticipated! OUCH! Dan has permenant scars on his hand from me squeezing so hard! Don't feel too sorry, he still has it a lot easier than I do. We are so fortunate to live in a metropolitan area where we have the best specialists to care for us. It makes going through all this a bit easier. The CVS testing went well, they did it trans-abdominally (kind of like amnio) which is a lot more uncomfortable for me. I did survive....but wit...

Week 12 is going pretty uneventful. We went in for CVS testing but the baby was not in the right position. It was sitting too far back, too close to my bowel and from the other direction it was being obstructed by the other placenta. We rescheduled for next week in hopes that the baby moves up a bit. I am continuing to feel really well with no morning sickness (I guess I am super lucky to miss out on that side effect)! 

Well, we are almost through the first trimester! YEA! The baby is growing and moving like a wiggle worm everytime we go in for ultrasounds! It is so crazy to think it is about the size of a fig now, about 1 1/2 inches long. The Dr/s office is going to keep me off work until week 20 then they will determine if I can go back to work. I am getting my energy back and the headaches are less frequent now. I still seem to get one or two a day but they are not like before. Thank God! The next few ...

We had two recent doctor's visits, one with the OB/GYN and the other with the Perinatologist. They confirmed everything is going well with the baby. It is still right on track with the heart beat and size.  The baby was going crazy squirming around in the video as you will see. This weeks photos were a little more difficult to read as it had it arms raised and hands in front of its head. The Pernatologist has a great ultrasound that does the 3D with video. A few days after our last ultrasound with the Perinatologist we went  for another ultrasound and check up with the OB/GYN and found out baby BBB's heart had stopped. Baby AAA's (the identical twin to BBB) heart rate was dropping and would probably not make it. We were saddened & stunned to hear such news just a few days following our last visit where everything was on track. We knew this was going to be a rollercoaster of emotions and trials with a huge percentage of losing all three. We went...

We met a Perinatologist in San Francisco. We are going to be seen every two weeks for ultrasounds & progression by their office. We scheduled a meeting with a nutritionist to go over food consumption and nutrients. Heavy protien is key with multiples which is a little tricky since I am vegetarian. I guess I have to eat meat for the next 6 months. YUCK! Everything seems to be on track. The heart beats looked well. Two of the babies are measuring 8 weeks and the other is 7 weeks 3 days. AAA &...
