We had our big "20 Week ultrasound" (at 19 weeks).  It was very detailed looking at all the different body parts, organs & four chambers of the heart. Lucas looks healthy and strong. He was a bit uncooperative and kept his hands in front of his face most of the time. Hence, the hands at the side of his face in the photo. It surprises me how many people can't make out the picture below! Well, it is a full body shot (minus the feet). Lucas is in the fetal position arms by his face, legs slightly bent & a smile on his face. The nose looks a bit funny due to the shadowing of the ultrasound.... it is the big white thing in the middle of his head. Must be a Kaney nose!

My mom came into town for the ultrasound. We had a blast getting the registry done and shopping for the baby. I have another detailed ultrasound scheduled for Dec. 29 that Dan's mom will attend. Due to the severity of the flu season and H1N1, the Perinatologist allows the patient and two other guests in the room at time of procedure so we were a bit limited.
